Uphold me

A journey through rejection and redemption

About the Book

What happens when rejection makes you question your worth, identity and even your future? Uphold Me is a deeply personal journey through rejection, faith, healing and redemption. It is a reminder that the people and experiences that wounded you do not have the final say over who you are or who you can become. Through vulnerability, faith and reflection, Thembakazi Ginindza invites readers to confront what has hurt them, rediscover their God-given identity, and move from merely surviving to becoming exactly who God has created them to be. This is more than a story of rejection; it is a story of restoration. This guided journaling book is an invitation to heal, become and rise.

About the Author

Author | Mentor | Microbiologist | Advocate for Emotional Healing Through Faith

Thembakazi Ginindza is a microbiologist by training, an author and mentor by calling and a passionate advocate for emotional healing through faith. She is deeply committed to helping women and young people discover their God-given identity, embrace their gifts, build confidence and courageously pursue their dreams and purpose. Her work is rooted in the belief that our wounds may shape parts of our story, but they do not have to define who we become. Through her writing, mentorship, advocacy and community work, Thembakazi creates spaces that encourage healing, self-discovery, faith and courageous becoming.

As the creator of Uphold Me: A Journey Through Rejection and Redemption, Thembakazi’s message extends beyond the pages of her book. She envisions a growing movement that encourages people to heal from what has wounded them, rediscover who God created them to be, and rise into their purpose. She is also a wife and mother of three, roles that continue to shape her understanding of love, resilience, growth and purpose. Her message is simple: “God didn’t uphold you just so you could survive. He upheld you so you could become exactly who He created you to be. Heal. Become. Rise.”
